In today’s modern movie world, it’s not enough for a comedy to just throw mindless jokes at the audience. There needs to be heart and compassion behind the laughs, so the audience leaves ready to bring a little more joy into their own lives. One such upcoming film is Andy Fickman’s Us & Them. Fickman is the director of films such as Race to Witch Mountain and She’s the Man. Us & Them is based off an original idea by Billy Crystal, who is also the film’s star and producer. He plays a grandfather who is tasked to take care of his grandchildren when their mother leaves for a work vacation.
